5 weeks in Europe! Great Carry On
I purchased this luggage in black for a 5 week trip to Europe for which we planned to use one carry-on and one personal item, both Pacsafe anti-slash/ anti-theft/ RFID blocking backpacks. The requirements for the roll aboard were:
* As we fly standby often; it had to be considered a roll-aboard/carry-on though we would be checking the bag on some of the flights. We used three different airlines, paying for the bag on the European economy carriers since they often only allow 1 carry-on total. The bag held up through all of this very well.
* It had to be expandable in order to carry back all the goodies (usually liquids) that were to be acquired on the trip and then could be considered checked luggage and my one free bag on most US airline companies.
* It had to be lightweight so that my allotted pounds/kilos went to what was to be packed inside, yet sturdy.

Best Lite Luggage for the money hands down!
I just got back from a 3 week trip to St Petersburg, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Paris. Lots of airports, train stations and cobble stone streets.
I researched for weeks the best luggage to fit the dimension restrictions by the Euro and American airlines, which had the best durability and light weight in order to fill my case for the long haul. I chose the teal color to easily stand out and the in-line skate wheel design over the spinner wheels that may not hold up to hazards outside an airport.
I made the right choice. It is the only "light" suitcase that has total rigid support around all the sides of the case. The stand support on the bottom doubles as a handle to lift. The handle opens smoothly and worked perfectly. The outer pockets are very handy. Inner mesh can keep dirty clothes separated.
The only negatives that are minor and why I didn't give 5 stars - the fabric is polyester and will get scuffs. I scotchgaurded the fabric and it helped...
Great lightweight luggage!
I needed to replace an old suitcase that was falling apart, and I read many reviews on travel blogs and consumer sites before settling on this Ricardo Beverly Hills Wheelaboard. I'm glad to say that I was not disappointed: This is a great little suitcase! It's very light (about 7.5 lbs. unpacked), well-constructed, sharp-looking (I got the purple and it looks great in person), and it has a ton of room and zippered compartments for organizing. One thing to note is that the main compartment is divided into a space in the bottom of the case as well as an expandable mesh zippered compartment on the inside of the lid. This is a little bit of a new arrangement for me, but it's nice having two sizable spaces to divvy up your clothes: nice/informal, clean/dirty, etc. The compartment on the inside of the cover also has a suiter strap for keeping formal clothes unwrinkled.
One other feature that I really like is the long handle; I'm 5' 10", and the handle reaches a few inches up...
