Just "okay"
Having had a Tumi for over 20 years, I was under the impression that this would also have the same level of quality I was used to. But right out of the box the wheels didn't roll smoothly, the roundness of the bag means it holds less, etc make it just an average bag - that costs more than it's worth.

Great freq flyer roll away
Great carry-on roll-away. I fly 100k+ miles a year and so far this bag is great. The suiter is a great addition and there are sufficient zippers and good wheels. Tumi is known for their customer service and durable product so not worried on that end. I never check a bag and even for the business/pleasure mixed long weekends, the expandable zipper option really allows additional space.
I purchased the mist silver one and really like the design and color. More aesthetically pleasing than the regular Tumi bags in my opinion.
5 Stars but is it necessary?
Even at 50% off during a rare sale, this suitcase is still 2-3 times more expensive than the competition. It is indeed a 5 star product, but I am not sure you really need 5 stars when it comes to luggage. It certainly has a ton of compartments, but I often end up searching for items in it, forgetting which of the numerous pockets I put them in. Toughness and durability are also of dubious value in a carry-on - ater all, it is not being handled by airport baggage handlers, so what's the point. And if it were, I probably would not want something so expensive to be thrown around anyway, since a much cheaper set would provide just as much protection for clothes and shoes that are inside. So in summary, this is a very nice item, but probably an overkill for it's intended uses, and at full retail definitely not worth it.
