Dimensions larger than provided
I ordered this thinking that the measurements given of 17.5" x 13" x 6.25" were the overall dimensions of the carry-on: however, that refers to the interior packing area. If you need to know what its exterior measurements are, they're 19.5" x 13.5" x 8.25" (based on the information provided with the item - I didn't try measuring it myself).
Overall, it seems to be a sturdy product: the zipper pulls were a bit stiff, but a little wax on the zippers should take care of that, nice outer appearance that doesn't look "cheap" (though if you open up the interior zipper to look at its construction, you'll know that not as much care was taken with its "bones" as with its "face") and wheels that look like they'll last a while. The handle does take some space in the case's interior and may be a bit short for taller travelers (I'm under 5'5") so take that into account before purchasing this item. Small but very good case
This was smaller than I expected it to be and I almost returned it. I use this case for a kit of supplies that I take with me to work, though, and needed it right away to replace one that broke. I am very glad that I kept it because it has worked perfectly. It is very portable and the wheels work nicely. There are many sleeves and pockets which make it easy to organize things. Overall the quality is great and the price was very good.
